Make: Tumax Web site: DSL28 Series Manual: PDF Relative Power @ 50mm1: 0.54× Key Features: Basic tilt reflector, rear-curtain sync, AF assist beam. Reasons to Buy: Compact, simple, incredibly cheap. Notable Drawbacks: Not very powerful or advanced. Very slow recycle time. |
A compact, automatic flash which uses only two AA batteries. Not many features, but also very cheap, and it does have a bounce feature. The Metz 24 AF-1 is essentially the same, but a bit more powerful and has no switch for rear-curtain sync, and Metz says the firmware is custom.

Including an Amazon link on this page is the easiest way to display the current prices, without having to keep track of it manually or write a more-complicated tracking script. And as a bonus, there's a picture of the flash. Obviously, the ad is also an affiliate link. As with all advertising on this site, I hope it's not too obnoxious.
